Ben Hutson began his career as an Assistant Public Defender in the 8th Judicial Circuit in 1994. He entered private practice in 1997 with the insurance defense firm of Monaco, Monaco & Birder, P.A., with clients including State Farm Fire & Casualty, State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Co., The Hartford, Nationwide Ins. Co., Hanover, Florida Farm Bureau and Lumbermens Mutual Ins. Co. Current solo practitioner at Hutson Law Firm, P.A. with focus on personal injury, commercial litigation and criminal defense. Board Certified in Criminal Trial (2006-).

 

Member of the Florida Bar and United States District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Florida. Former President of the Eighth Judicial Circuit Bar Association (2002), and Chair of Florida Bar Grievance Committee 8A (2006). Instructor at Gerald T. Bennett Prosecutor/Public Defender Trial Training Program. Adjunct Instructor of Trial Practice at UF College of Law.

 

Supreme Court of Florida Certified Circuit Court Mediator and trained Arbitrator.
